My question is about resources for learning the basics, grip, practice, maintenance and best practices.The down side is they are small parts but the upside is any 365 can be converted. It's also, IIRC, a tad lighter. And it's single-stack and 7+1. 1 - first, figure out what shooting fundamentals work for you - grip and stance among them (you have to be balanced and comfortable). Shoot more to settle those in as the foundation of everything else. The ergonomics/mechanics have to work for you (isosceles, weaver, modified weaver etc- each has pros and cons).My P365 is a consistent 6lbs with about 800 rounds. I will be interested to see if the MS and XL models have the same range of between 4.5 - 7 lbs as the original. I would think the MS would have a lighter trigger than one without a manual safety. With the cost of 9mm these days, I would buy a P365 chambered in 22LR for some cost effective, realistic training. The gun would need to weigh the same as a 9mm P365 and have the same trigger pull. I'm not sure if a 22LR would have enough recoil to cycle the slide.The down side is they are small parts but the upside is any 365 can be converted. The P365 platform is very versatile. As a note the parts are also relatively inexpensive if you shop around.
